FAQs

The Wedding Website of Katherine Marra and Dylan Dove
Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

We adore your children — but this one’s just for the grown-ups. Come ready to eat, drink, and dance the night away!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

While we wish we could invite everyone to our wedding, our venue has a strict capacity limit. Please RSVP for only the parties included on your invitation and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We have decided to go paperless for RSVPs! Once you receive your Save The Date and/or Wedding Invitation, please proceed to the RSVP tab on the wedding website to complete the form.

Question

Can I take photos at the Wedding Ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you turn your cell phones off during the Wedding Ceremony. We would like all photos of the Ceremony to be taken by our wonderful photographers without cell phones in the photographs. You can resume taking photos on your phone directly following the ceremony.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Late June in Montespertoli is warm, sunny, and typically very dry. Expect daytime temperatures in the low to mid-80s°F and comfortable evenings in the low-60s°F. It’s beautiful outdoor-weather almost all day, with long golden sunsets — just pack light layers, sunscreen, and sunglasses!

Question

What is the dress code for the Wedding events?

Answer

Please see the Schedule tab for attire suggestions for each Wedding event.

Question

Why does the Castello di Montegufoni website say that I need to bring my own toilet paper?

Answer

Because normally the castle hosts short-term vacation rentals… and those guests are expected to fend for themselves a bit! Since we have the entire property exclusively for the wedding, none of those rules apply to you. All rooms will be fully stocked with towels, toilet paper, and everything you need. Plus, a full breakfast will be served each morning, and if you decide to stay at the castle during the day, lunch is available at the restaurant on-site. So rest easy — no one needs to pack a suitcase full of Charmin.

Question

Should I rent a car?

Answer

Yes! Since the public transportation in Florence can be quite unreliable and you will most likely be exploring Tuscany throughout the weekend, we recommend that you rent a car, if you are able. Consider splitting and carpooling with friends and family! Please note that the American Express Platinum card does not cover rental insurance in Italy.
