Swift-Coles Historic Home has room for up to 100 vehicles. Please keep in mind when arriving day of. If someone you know is attending, please carpool, or at least uber to the venue. There will be handicap options for those in need. Otherwise, there will be signage for parking close to the venue.
Semi-formal to formal attire is required. Please do not feel like you have to wear a tux or formal gown. You will be asked to leave if you arrive in jeans, shorts, or any other casual clothing items. Our wedding colors are various shades of blue with black, and you are more than welcome to color coordinate.
The ceremony will start at 4:00pm sharp. If you plan on attending the ceremony please arrive and be seated by no later than 3:30pm. If you cannot make it in time for the ceremony, please arrive after 5:00pm.
Cocktail hour will be immediately following the ceremony, you are welcome to any refreshments from the open bar. Please be considerate to the bar and catering staff! We paid for the booze, so please tip the bar! Since the lovely Baldwin County Sheriffs Dept will be at the wedding, the bartender has the right to refuse service to anyone who appears too intoxicated. They also reserve the right to ID anyone they deem necessary. Please have your IDs ready when ordering drinks that contain alcohol. Cocktail hour will be from 4:30pm to 6:00pm, food will be served at 7:00pm and taken away at 8:00pm. Open bar from 4:30-9:30, and all attendees must be off premises by 10:00pm
Catering will be provided by Cactus Cantina. We will have a fajita bar with rice and fries, queso, salsa, guac, and chips. Bar menu will be comprised of domestic beers, red and white wines, vodka, tequila, and whiskey. All served either straight up, on ice, or with a mixer. The bartender will not have access to a full bar to make high-end cocktails. The only cocktails being served will be our signature drinks.
Please do not ask our photographer to take pictures for you on our wedding day. We will have a QR code for guests to use to take as many pictures as they like for the Bride and Groom. Please do not post any pictures of the wedding day on social media before the Bride and Groom have made a post on their social media. Please drink responsibly! Baldwin County Sheriffs Department will be security for the wedding, so you will be asked to leave/escorted off the premises if you cannot control actions. Neither the Bride and Groom, nor their parents, will be responsible for your ride home. Shots are not allowed per the venue, so please do not ask the Bartender to break a rule for a shot of liquor. No children under the age of 16 are allowed unless they are named on your invitation. No plus ones are allowed unless permitted on your invitation. If you choose to bring someone that was not invited, both you and your guests will asked to leave. Please RSVP by the date listed in your invitation, late RSVPs will not be accepted due to vendors needing a headcount by a certain date. If you plan on attending the ceremony, please arrive on time. If you cannot make it by 4:00pm, please arrive by 5:00pm for the reception or wait in your car until the ceremony is over.
