The Valentines

We met through mutual friends, I know boring…BUT we both worked at the Beach Club. He would come and sit at my bar on his lunch break almost everyday. He came in one night after work, with a coworker, and they both sat there for hours drinking and keeping up a conversation with me. He asked if I wanted to go flying, I had zero idea what he meant but agreed. He then left me a $65 tip. Our first date he flew me around in this tiny plane to see the sunset, after that we had dinner and drinks…and the rest is history.

10 days after our one year anniversary of dating. We went to Minnesota to visit his grandparents. He asked if I wanted to go out on the boat and watch his mom and aunts ski. We went out to the middle of the lake and turn the boat off. He just kept staring at me, so I asked if he wanted to come sit next to me. He said “uhh yeah but first, will you marry me?” Of course I said yes!!
