Ryan and Marlowe technically met long before they ever realized they’d end up together. They both attended Darnaby Elementary School—Ryan in 5th grade and Marlowe in 4th—and rode the same bus to and from school every day. Over the years, they crossed paths often, especially since Marlowe was friends with Ryan’s sister, but their relationship was always just that: friends. As life tends to do, they grew up, went their separate ways, and eventually lost touch. Fast forward to Marlowe’s senior year at OU and Ryan’s fifth year, when fate decided it was time for a reintroduction. They ran into each other one night at Logie’s on Campus Corner, where Ryan bought Marlowe a drink, and they instantly hit it off. From that moment on, something just felt easy and familiar. Despite the instant connection, Marlowe was hesitant at first—she was focused on finishing her senior year and preparing to start PA school. But with a little encouragement from mutual friends (Zane deserves some credit here), she finally caved… and is so glad she did. Today, Ryan and Marlowe live together in a cozy little house in Bixby with their two cats, Bubba and Luna, who keep life entertaining and fill their days with laughter and love. In their free time, they enjoy spending weekends at the lake, going for long walks, trying new restaurants, and soaking up the little moments together—especially when they involve their fur babies. What started as a childhood coincidence turned into the love of their lives, and they couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this next chapter with all the people they love most!
