When should I RSVP by?

All rooms must be booked & paid in full by July 17, 2024.

Are kids welcome?

The resort is a family friendly location! Please refer to your invitation to determine if your children are included for the wedding ceremony and reception.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
The beauty of a destination wedding is that we get to spend lots of time together! We will plan some formal events together that will be added to the website and will have plenty of informal beach and pool lounging as well.

Can I bring a date?

We’re so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest, and are hoping to keep the guest list intimate. Please refer to your invitation to if a plus one was included for the wedding ceremony and reception.

Will I need a passport?
Answer
Yes! Our Mexican wedding will be an international adventure and you will need a passport for travel.

What airport should we fly in to?
Answer
Cancun International Airport (CUN). Tripguy Travel can arrange airport transfer for $50/per person round trip.

Can I book an outside accomodation?
Answer
To attend the wedding there is a minimum three night stay at the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo Resort. That means we will have lots of quality time together! Please book all rooms through TripGuy Travel.

Can I extend my stay past the three night minimum?
Answer
TripGuy Travel is happy to help with Pre or Post stays (before or after the wedding), whether at Iberostar, or a completely different resort! Inquire with your TripGuy representative if interested in extending your trip.

When will you be at the resort?
Answer
Marlies, Michael and the kiddos will arrive at the resort 10/31 and check out 11/5.
Question
Is there anything that’s not included?
Answer
Tipping is not mandatory, you may want to bring some $1’s and $5’s for the bartenders, servers, and staff taking care of you throughout your stay. Additional excursions or spa treatments are also not included and can be paid with a credit card at the hotel.
