Before my best friend got married, she and her groom's family went to dance lessons. Turns out Andy is the groom's brother and needed a dance partner. In steps me. In the three lessons we had, there was a lot of laughing. Maybe it was his two left feet or maybe it was me finally telling him to just follow my lead. There was no denying the chemistry. The wedding came and went and we parted ways. A few weeks later I posted an Instagram story raking hay and he slid into my DMs with, "Hope you didn't tear anything up running that tractor." That's the best he came up with, but he got my attention. After a few weeks of sending messages back and forth I decided that if I could get him to respond one more time, I was going to send him my number. I said this because it sometimes took him a couple weeks to see his Instagram messages. And a couple weeks later right on cue, he sent me HIS number. It worked out quite well for me I'd say. It took one date and two nights hanging out for him to ask me to be his girlfriend. I hesitantly responded yes. He has said since the beginning, "when you know, you know." It just took me a little longer than a month to know. Fast forward four months and I accepted a job in Ohio. I dreaded the conversation where I would have to tell Andy I don't want to have a long distance relationship. Then he surprised me again by saying if I was in Ohio, that's where he wants to be. I got off the hook easy again. Fast forward to December 22. It was our one-year anniversary as a couple. We were out looking at cattle at his parents and he popped the question I had been waiting for (literally waiting because I had suspicions it was going to happen). On September 5 we are officially starting our forever and we couldn't be happier to celebrate with all of our favorite people! #BoeckerToBe
