Yes, Uber and taxis. We personally recommend Uber over taxis, for a more affordable price.

September 1, 2024. But of course, the sooner we know the better!

Will there be transportation from the airport?

Answer

Yes, we will have transportation shuttles picking up guest Wednesday and Thursday morning. Flights to Mexico City

We suggest to book your flights ASAP due to being Day of the Dead week in Mexico rates do go up due to so many events and tourist.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

On Saturday evening, we're heading back to Mexico City to immerse ourselves in the vibrant festivities of the Day of the Dead. Our plan includes taking boat rides in Xochimilco to partake in the activities and celebrate this unique tradition. We invite anyone who wants to join us and experience the magic of Mexico City. It's advise to book a hotel in the city for convenience. Do Hotels and restaurants accept cards or cash?

Answer

They accept both. We do suggest to carry cash (pesos) with you. Most street vendors or small stores only take cash. It's best to carry some cash with you in Mexico.

Where do exchange my money?

Answer

We recommend the airport. When exchanging currency at the airport, it's important to compare rates and choose the highest one for PESOS. This way, you can get more value for your money.

Mexico City Traffic

Answer

To avoid the notorious traffic in Mexico City, it is highly recommended to plan your journeys in advance. It is advisable to allocate at least an hour or more of extra time to reach your desired destinations. For a convenient experience, we suggest staying in a central area that offers proximity to various attractions.

Is there a dress code?

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

At our wedding venue, Hacienda de Cortes, we have arranged blocked rooms for our guests. To accommodate different budgets, we have also provided suggestions for hotels in the surrounding area with more affordable rates. We have been informed there will be a separate event that weekend so, booking rooms early is HIGHLY suggested.

Although we love your little ones, this is an adult only affair.

Our goal is to keep our very special weekend (or day) as intimate as possible, we are choosing to celebrate with only our closest family and friends. Thank you for respecting our wishes.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Hell yeah!!! We will have a cocktail hour with a Gin bar and open bar at our reception till 3:00am. Drink responsibly!

Transportation

Answer

Guests will be offered transportation from the airport on Wednesday and Thursday morning to the hacienda. On Saturday, they will be taken back to the airport. Another bus will take guests to the Coyoacán area of Mexico City to participate in the Day of the Dead events. We recommend booking a room in that area for convenience.

Where do I stay in Mexico City after the wedding?

Answer

We recommend to stay in La Condesa, Roma Norte, Zona Rosa, Coyoacán, Narvarte Oriente neighrhood, Polanco.
