We're Getting Married

Marlene and Chris's paths crossed in 2009, seemingly by chance. One day, while going through his old blackberry phone, Chris stumbled upon a mysterious number belonging to a girl he didn't know. Curiosity got the better of him, and he decided to text the number to find out who it belonged to. As it turned out, the number was saved under a different girl's name, and Marlene told him that he had the wrong number. However, instead of ending the conversation there, they struck up a friendship and continued to stay in touch over the years. Eventually, fate brought them together in Houston Tuesday night, completely unplanned. From that moment on, their friendship blossomed, and they started spending more and more time together. Chris's feelings for Marlene grew stronger, and he never gave up on pursuing her. In the summer of 2014, their bond deepened, and they officially started dating in July of that year. Marlene and Chris shared a unique connection, a friendship that felt like falling in love with their best friend. They could be their authentic selves around each other, and their chemistry was unparalleled. They discovered shared interests, such as a love for travel and music, and both embraced spontaneity and new adventures. In September 2022, Chris Zapata decided to propose to Marlene in Mallorca, Spain. Now, they are eagerly planning their Mexican novela wedding in Cuernavaca, Mexico with family and friends.
