Things To Do

PEZ Visitor Center

35 Prindle Hill Road, Orange, CT 06477
, (203) 298-0201

We've never actually been here. When Sara was growing up in Orange, there was no visitor center. There were rumors about high school kids having illegal parties here, but by the time she was in high school herself, they had either stopped happening or she wasn't cool enough to be invited. Whatever, she wouldn't have gone anyway for fear of getting in trouble.

Chip's Family Restaurant

321 Boston Post Road, Orange, CT 06477
, (203) 795-5065

So many kinds of pancakes. So many kinds of waffles. So many flavors of syrup. Sara's grandfather Sidney usually says he isn't hungry and then eats a stack of pancakes with whipped cream.

Claire's Corner Copia

1000 Chapel Street, New Haven, CT 06510
, (203) 562-3888

Delicious vegetarian food and the only game in town if you are looking for a kosher restaurant. If you can stomach raisins, the Lithuanian coffee cake is legendary. And if you hate raisins, go for something chocolate.

Connecticut Post 14 and IMAX

1201 Boston Post Road, Milford, CT 06460
, (203) 878-8037

Jonathan will be happy to recommend a movie for you. He might even go with you. This theater is close to the hotel.
