Flight
Entry Documents: The Dominican Republic requires an "e-Ticket" application to be filled out before arrival. This application is free and can be completed online. At no point should you have to pay for any sort of visa or additional documentation. We recommend visiting your airline’s website and reviewing the travel readiness or entry requirements section for guidance. If your airline doesn’t provide a direct link, you can complete the e-Ticket here: https://eticket.migracion.gob.do

Travel Note
The official currency in the Dominican Republic is the Dominican Peso (DOP). However, U.S. dollars are widely accepted, especially in tourist areas. Here are a few helpful tips: – Hotel Alisei, where we’ll be staying, accepts U.S. dollars and credit cards for payment. – If you'd like to have pesos on hand, the easiest and most convenient way to get them is at an ATM at the airport. We recommend using the Banco Popular ATM on the first floor of the terminal—after baggage claim, face the main exit doors and you’ll find it on the left side. – The current exchange rate is approximately DOP $57.50 = USD $1.00. – Bring small bills in USD for tips, taxis, and smaller purchases. – Most major hotels and larger shops accept credit cards, but it's always helpful to have some cash for local vendors or outings.
