A charming neighborhood in downtown San Diego, Little Italy is full of great restaurants both Italian and others. Recommendations: Italian food - Civico 1845, Ramen - Underbelly or Yasai (vegan), Japanese Fusion - Cloak and Petal, Upscale American - Kettner Exchange, Brunch - Cafe Gratitude (vegan) or Morning Glory (long waits)
There are Better Buzz's all over San Diego, it's a local coffee shop here. Highly recommend stopping in if you pass one and need a coffee! They also have good casual food for breakfast
Speakeasy behind a whiskey shop in the upscale La Jolla shopping district. We recommend calling for a reservation in advance if you have a group larger than 2-4. The Island Old Fashioned is delish!
