This historic, Mile High landmark not only acts as a hub for the city's modern train system and community, but Union Station boasts an eclectic collection of locally owned restaurants, bars, shops and more. Dressed up in European inspired architecture and modern design cues, this Denver staple is worth the downtown detour! Highlights: Copper Lounge (Don't forget the espresso martini), Stoic & Genuine
River North Art District (known by locals as RINO) is an up-and-coming artsy neighborhood rich in murals, old industrial buildings and boutique breweries and restaurants. If you go to Federales, make sure you take a tequila shot and ring the bell. BEWARE: Go before dusk or else the goonies come out. Highlights: Nocturne Jazz Bar, Our Mutual Friend Brewery, Odell
We frequent this place OFTEN and are lucky enough to have our rehearsal dinner here. The staff is exceptional and right downtown, so if you're looking to hit the town after you're in a great spot! We recommend making a reservation one week prior. Ask for Charlie and tell him we sent you! Highlights: EVERYTHING but especially the Espresso Martinis and Elk Bolognese
Take a look at the concert schedule, one the coolest venues to date. Make sure you wear comfy shoes because you get quite a workout on the way up. If seeing a concert isn't your cup of tea, we recommend still taking a trip up there. You get a great view of Denver and Littleton and there's great hiking trails around there.
