1. What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Answer
5pm, please check traffic if you are driving as times can vary drastically in this area.

2. What is the dress code?
Answer
Colorful cocktail attire! Think midi to maxi dresses, jumpsuits, suits etc. Lightweight fabrics recommended but check the weather. Colors: Bright colors, bold patterns and florals preferred (please do not wear any shades of white). Feel free to contact the bride if you have any attire questions at shockleysecada2024@gmail.com.

3. Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
All events will be outdoors. Since it's FL, the weather can be hard to predict but it'll likely be hot and cool off as the ceremony ends.

5. How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided? Is there parking available at the wedding venue?
Answer
Parking is available at the venue if you enter from NE 9th Street, follow all the way to the end of street and turn left into parking lot (follow Google Maps instructions). Transportation will not be provided to venue.

6. Can I bring my kids?
Answer
Select children are invited, please check the the website when you RSVP as all invitees with be designated.

7. What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception? Will there be an open bar?
Answer
We'll be serving light passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by dinner and dessert. Yes, there will be an open bar. Please note: shots are not allowed at the venue.

8. I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

9. Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?
Answer

10. Can I take pictures during the ceremony/reception to post on social media?
Answer
Yes, but please refrain from using phones during the ceremony. We will give everyone a minute to take a few photos before having an unplugged ceremony.

11. What's the best way to RSVP? When is the deadline?

12. Do you have a wedding registry?
Answer
We will have a limited gift registry as we already have a full (and tiny) NYC apartment. Honeymoon donations are welcome!

13. Can we bring our gift to the wedding?
Answer
For ease of travel, we'd prefer gifts sent to our apartment but cards can be brought to the wedding. Our address is 99 Wyckoff Street Apt 2R Brooklyn, NY 11201.

14. When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?
Answer
The reception will conclude at 10pm. Friends are invited to an after party. Please see invitation for details.
