The Cabins at Bear River Lodge

Utah 150, Kamas, UT 84036
 8017981008

We have rented a large cabin for the reception as part of a 'family reunion' which isn't that far from the truth since our family is now bigger! We will be there Oct4-6 and leaving Sunday, you are welcome to come as early as you like and stay as late as you like. If you want to stay in the cabins, you will need to call and make a reservation, and we have the party under Mark Pearce - remember this is a 'Family Reunion'. We will be having the ceremony close by in the Uinta national forest - final location TBD, but will be accessible to everyone. We will have drinks, food, and dancing at the reception. Ceremony and reception will be Oct. 5 when (hopefully) the aspens are in peak season!

Hotel

Evanston

Evanston, WY 82930

If you do not wish to stay in the cabins, Evanston Wy is 30 minutes away with multiple hotel options - and is on the way to the cabins from SLC.

Flight

SLC Airport

To get to the Cabins at Bear River, the closest airport will be Salt Lake City. The cabins are ~1.5-2 hours from SLC. We would recommend renting a vehicle and taking I-80 through Evanston which is the quicker route. If you do have the time and the weather cooperates, you can also get to the cabins via the Mirror Lake Highway through the Uinta national forest out of Kamas - it is a BEAUTIFUL drive.

Travel Note

Weather, road conditions, and cell reception

While it is early season, there is always the chance of snow in October. If it is snowing, we recommend taking the route through Evanston as the high mountain passes of the mirror lake highway may close. As you enter the Uintas through Kamas, or once you get outside of Evanston, cell reception is limited. This includes the cabins where we will be staying, the cabins do have wi-fi.
