1. What about COVID?

Answer

First, all guests must be vaccinated. The catering staff are all vaccinated as well. Second, the good news: the ceremony is outside. The cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be outside and the dinner and dancing are also outside under a tent, hooray!

2. Do we bring gifts or mail them?

Answer

This is a trick question. We don't want any gifts!!! We have lots of stuff and feel your presence is the best gift of all. If you want to make a gift please see our "Registry" page for organizations we care about; you can make a donation in our name, should you choose to do so.

3. What will the weather be like in October ?

Answer

It will be lovely. It may be warm or slightly cool, so bring a sweater. And maybe a raincoat depending on the forecast.

4. What will the wedding venue be like?

Answer

The venue is River Farm in Alexandria, Virginia alongside the Potomac River (See the Schedule of Events page). The venue has spacious outside grounds with plenty of room for social distancing. (See https://ahsgardening.org/about-river-farm/ )

5. Anything special I should pack for the weekend?

Answer

Birders may want to bring binocs for Saturday morning optional activity. Maybe an umbrella or raincoat depending on forecast.
