Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Formal invitations with RSVP instructions will be sent out closer to our wedding date. However, feel free use the RSVP tab on this website to let us know sooner rather than later if you are definitely in or know you unfortunately can't make it.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Please reach out if you will be traveling with your little ones as we may be able to help coordinate childcare.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at the same location, and there is no guest parking available on site. We will be providing shuttle transportation for guests from Salida to Howard Creek Farm before the ceremony at set times and locations. Shuttles will also be available starting at 9:00pm and continuing throughout the night to return guests back to Salida. Uber/Lyft are not readily available in Salida, so please do not plan on using a rideshare service to get to/from the venue.

Question

Is Salida at altitude?

Answer

While Salida is definitely not one of Colorado's highest mountain towns, it does sit at just over 7,000 feet of elevation. This may be a bit of an adjustment for our guests coming from sea level. Symptoms of altitude sickness include headache, nausea and vomiting, dizziness, and lightheadedness. Be sure to drink plenty of water while traveling, use sun protection, and, if possible, take an extra day to acclimate to the higher elevation.
