SHUTTLE DETAILS (WEDDING DAY)

May 31, 2025 4:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Please note!!!!!! Shuttles will pick guests at the following times: (1) Beacon Guests (Dutchess Inn, the Round House, AirBnBs) - Shuttles will pick guests up at the Dutchess County DMV in Beacon (223 Main St, Beacon) at 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm. Not everyone will fit on one shuttle, so we do asks the early birds to aim for the 4:00 pm bus. (2) Courtyard Marriott (Poughkeepsie) - Shuttles will pick up guests at 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm. (3) Hampton Inn (Fishkill) - One shuttle will pick up guests at 4:30 pm. Return shuttles will drop off at these locations throughout the evening at the end of the night. Due to noise ordinances, the wedding will end at 11:00 pm (although there may be some room for a lovely little afterparty after 11:00 pm). Shuttles will be running based off of availability so y'all aren't driving in a little bus all alone.

SHUTTLE DETAILS (WELCOME DRINKS

For welcome drinks, there will be shuttles from both the Courtyard Marriott (Poughkeepsie) and Hampton Inn (Fishkill) departing each hotel at 7:30 pm. Return shuttles will drop off at these locations throughout the evening starting around 9:30 pm. Shuttles will be running based off of availability so y'all aren't driving in a little bus all alone.

Newark, JFK, LGA

Any of the NYC Airports will work. If you're renting a car, it's probably easiest to rent from Newark, if you're flying in. If you plan to train from NYC, JFK or LGA are better options.

Poughkeepsie Airport

I don't know who the people are who have found a direct flight into Poughkeepsie. These people are special treasures and may get some sort of prize at the wedding.

Train

Metro-North Hudson Line, Beacon & Poughkeepsie

The Metro-North leaves out of Grand Central and gets into Beacon after about an hour and a half and Poughkeepsie in about 2 hours. Good ride! Pretty! Hudson River! Sully Sullenberger didn't crash a plane in this very river!

We don't have a block here (bc either they have a grudge against gays or more likely because there are too few rooms to justify a block) but either way it's a strong recommendation from us

Again, no block due to lack of supply but strong strong recommend here, it smells like candles and it's walking distance from a lot of stuff in town. They only take reservations 6 months out, so reservations will not be available until December 1, 2024.
