For those who may not know our story from the very beginning, it all started in 2016 on Sacandaga Lake. We were out on the town with our siblings and friends. Mark recalls seeing Breanne for the first time laughing, dancing and “cutting it loose” with her sisters on the dance floor. Mark found himself drawn to her, and thought to himself, I just have to go say hi! We hit it off quite well, we talked, laughed, and danced that night, but both being in different places at that time, we went our separate ways. However, little did Breanne know that Mark spent quite some time after that trying to "get in a good word" through Jenna (Mark's now sister-in-law) and Alicia (Breanne's sister). But it was fate at its finest, as we would now call it! Four years later, we saw each other at the lake once again! Mark laughed as he remembers thinking, he couldn't miss his chance that time! He wasted no time when he spotted Breanne, he climbed right up on the boat and with the biggest smile on his face asked “So ...are you single yet?”. Breanne laughed out loud thinking “this guy must be utterly insane”, but being so glad he asked, she smiled and answered yes! As Mark would say, “you gave me the toughest time that summer”, but “persistence wears resistance”. Mark of course was right, as we were inseparable after that. We spent that summer falling in love on the lake. In the winter of 2023, Mark and Breanne traveled for a quiet winter get away to Quebec City Canada, where Mark popped the question! Breanne would say she couldn't say yes fast enough! Over the years we have been so blessed to grow into the best of friends! We still enjoy spending peaceful days on the lake and nights around a fire or under the stars. We found the best in each other out on the lake. For us, Lake George has become a place of love and solitude, a place with so many beautiful memories, and many more to come. Which is why getting married on the lake is such a dream come true for the both of us. We hope that you can join us on our special day, and love the beautiful view as much as we have over the years.
