What's the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal, which is less dressy than cocktail attire and more formal than dressy casual. Think a light summer dress (it is August in Virginia) or dress pants and a dress shirt with a linen jacket or no jacket at all.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is scheduled for 4pm, so we recommend arriving between 3:30 and 3:45 to be seated and comfortable. Family should plan to arrive a little earlier for priority seats.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! But, our venue is right along a (sometimes) fast-running river with steep banks. Please watch your children at all times and warn them against going toward the river's edge.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know of any food allergies in advance! The cake will be gluten free, and the dinner is a buffet. We can let you know of any allergens to avoid and what foods should be safe.
