A Match Made in Heaven

It was Mark's senior year in High School, and he was in the last class of the day, Art. When in walked Aubri to change his world forever. As the school year progressed so did his eagerness to talk to her, but he was rather coy. Aubri being the exact opposite, walked up to him and started a conversation. In her smooth talking, she spilt a jar of charcoal making a mess everywhere. This is when Mark knew he was crushing hard for her because of her contagious laugh. Some more silly interactions happened between them making them closer and then Christmas rolled around. He knew he couldn't let her be the one that got away, so he mustered up the courage to text her and ask her out on a date. That first date is when Mark knew he was in love with her because when she got into his car, his metal music started playing and he was terrified she would be scared away for good. Instead, Aubri replied, "Oh my gosh I LOVE this song, you listen to metal?!". They both smiled and started singing it together all the way to the movies. Aubri also knew he was the one because for that first date, he walked up and introduced himself to both her parents before leaving. He has been and still is such a gentleman. We have now talked every single day since that fateful Christmas in 2016. Gone one hundreds of adventures, laughed so hard together that our faces would be sore, and uplifted one another in everything we do. God really knew what he was doing when he made our paths align so young. Our love is gentle, kind, patient, understanding, and most of all fun. We better one another each day and strive for greatness, even when the world around us feels like its falling apart. We hope the love we share for each other, and those around us, uplifts and encourages anyone to find the person to share this crazy beautiful life with.
