Hotel
THE HOTEL BLOCK IS ALMOST SOLD OUT AND THE HOTEL IS ALMOST COMPLETELY FULL FOR OUR WEDDING WEEKEND. We have reserved a block for the wedding. If you would like to stay here and take advantage of the discounted rates, ask for the Fischer/Foxall wedding block. If you do not wish to stay here, there are plenty of vacation rentals and other hotels in the area, but we recommend checking a map before you book a location! We've listed several below.
Shuttle
October 23, 2021 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Parking is restricted at the wedding venue so ALL guests (including locals) are required to arrive via our complimentary shuttle or your own, private transportation service. The complimentary wedding shuttle will depart the La Quinta Inn & Suites every half hour beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021. Guests will have an opportunity to signup for their shuttles at the welcome reception. A pre-ceremony cocktail reception is available to early arrivers and guests can meander through the beautiful manicured gardens or take-in vineyard views.
Travel Note
October is harvest time and a busy time in wine country. Paso Robles is a popular fall destination. If you're having trouble finding accommodations in Paso Robles, we suggest you look in Atascadero. It's just a few miles south of Paso Robles and oftentimes the lodging is cheaper and more available. There are a few new hotels there, which we've listed below. Check out all of the lodging options on this page. We strongly encourage you to get your room or Air B’n’B booked as soon as you can. Even if you need to cancel it. It's better to just book it and cancel if you have to. Below we've listed some of our favorites, new hotels and places to rest your head that are close to the events.
Travel Note
We HIGHLY recommend flying into the San Luis Obispo airport. Flights may be slightly more expensive, but the additional cost is potentially worth the very short drive - approximately 30-45 minutes. Flights into Los Angeles will be cheaper, but the drive will potentially be ten times longer, and you will be forced to brave nightmarish hellscape of LA traffic. Other options are: Santa Barbara or San Jose (approx. 2 1/2 hour drive), San Francisco (approx. 3 hour drive), and Fresno (2 hour drive). But, if you enjoy Tolkien-esque journeys that make you wonder if there is still good left in the world, then LAX is the airport for you!
Travel Note
Ride-On Transport provides a variety of shuttle and visitor transportation. If you need transportation to/from the airport, want a private shuttle to/from the wedding, to go wine tasting or other per-determined travel needs, give them a call. All services must be booked in advanced. Airport transfers are $75/pp + $5 for each additional person, Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Weekends and 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. weekdays, the fare is $85/pp + $5 for each additional person.
Travel Note
A good website with a lot of information and access to lodging, dining, transportation and things to do and see.
