Where is the wedding venue, anyway?

Answer

The wedding is taking place at the Chateau Robles Vineyard Estate located at 3250 Branch Road in Paso Robles, California. Parking is restricted at the venue so all guests are required to use the shuttle service that will be provided or some other form of rental transportation such as Uber, Lyft or Fetch. Is there a shuttle service to/from the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Parking is restricted at the wedding venue so ALL guests (including locals) are required to arrive via our complimentary shuttle or your own, private transportation service. The complimentary wedding shuttle will depart the La Quinta Inn & Suites every half hour beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021. Guests will have an opportunity to signup for their shuttles at the welcome reception. A pre-ceremony cocktail reception is available to early arrivers and guests can meander through the beautiful manicured gardens or take-in vineyard views.

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

Yes! The wedding and reception will be held in a beautiful, manicured garden on a vineyard estate. The days may be warm but the nights are cool so please bring a coat or sweater. Layering is also advised. You will be walking on grass most of the evening so consider that when choosing your footwear.

Parking at Wedding Venue

Answer

Due to local event regulations, parking is restricted at the wedding venue location. ALL guests (including locals) are required to travel to/from the venue via the complimentary shuttle service or their own private transportation service. Details about the shuttle service can be found on the travel page. Uber, Lyft and other local transportation services such as Fetch and Ride-On Transportation are also available.

Are their Covid 19 restrictions?

Answer

Unfortunately, the Covid-19 situation is always changing so please check back to this page from time-to-time for updates. As of September 25, 2021 there are no restrictions in San Luis Obispo County for outdoor events. HOWEVER, there is a mandatory masking mandate for all indoor locations. The bride, groom and their families ask that ALL attendees respect the health and safety of our friends, family and event staff by being fully-vaccinated more than two weeks prior to the event. If you are unable to be vaccinated, we ask that you wear a mask at all times during the event other than when you are actively eating or drinking and adhere to social distancing guidelines. It is not required, but would be appreciated that unvaccinated individuals acquire a negative Covid-19 test three days prior to the event. Please let us know if you are not vaccinated, or if you have other concerns or requests regarding Covid-19 issues, so we can make special accommodations for high risk individuals.

What's the weather like in Paso Robles?

Answer

In the fall, Paso Robles' weather temperature can be unpredictable. It's generally warm and sunny during the day and chilly to cold at night. Dressing in "layers" in the best way to deal with the weather changes. The climate here is dry - take that to mean no humidity and generally no rain.

What should I do about a gift?

Answer

We have a gift registry on the Zola website with many gift options. The site provides our shipping address. If you'd like to buy a gift for us from somewhere else, please have it shipped to reach us prior to October 20, 2021 or after October 31, 2021 as we will be away from home during that time. Our preference is that you contribute to our honeymoon or home improvement fund or purchase one of our honeymoon activities. You are welcome to bring cards to the wedding; however, please do not bring packages because we will not be able to take them on the plane with us and it will just create more work and cost for our parents who will have to ship them to us.
