Please see the RSVP tab on our website. If you are having any issues, please reach out to us!
Black-tie optional. Ladies — the Basilica requires shoulders to be covered during the ceremony, so please bring a light shawl or wrap. It's Rome in September so it'll be warm, and you can toss it as soon as we move to the reception. We also recommend thicker heels! Gentlemen, no shorts in the church either (but we trust you knew that).
Yes! Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond the travel date. If you don't have one, start that process now — they can take several weeks.
Rome's Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCO) is the main international airport and about 30 minutes from the city center. The Leonardo Express train runs directly to Roma Termini station and is the easiest option.
Please take a look at our Travel & Accommodations tab! In general, Trastevere is a great neighborhood — walkable, beautiful, and close to both the church and Villa Aurelia.
We are arranging transportation from the Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere to Villa Aurelia, as well as transportation from the Villa to hotels. More details to come!
There isn't an official after party being planned, but we will be heading into Trastevere's bar scene when our event ends at 12:30am. Everyone is welcome to join us for a night cap!
