Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place indoors at Sacred Heart Church. Afterwards, we’ll gather at The Upchurch for cocktail hour indoors and in the garden, then continue the celebration with an indoor reception!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Guests should arrive to Sacred Heart Church to be seated by 1:30pm the latest. Ceremony starts promptly at 2:00pm. Please give yourself ample time to find parking as this is in downtown Raleigh.

Where can I park for the ceremony?

Answer

There are various parking lots located within a short walk to the church, some are free or paid. Parking should be free on weekends at the Municipal Complex Parking Deck, 201 W Morgan St, Raleigh, NC 27601, a short walk to the church. Paid parking is available at: -The two lots directly across the street from Sacred Heart Church -Green Square Parking Deck -Metered parking on the nearby streets

Where can I park for the reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the venue, The Upchurch. Overnight parking is permitted but cars must be removed by 10 AM the following morning.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is garden party formal. Men, suits or tailored jackets with dress pants preferred. Women, midi or longer dresses in soft pastels or romantic florals are perfect. Bright colors, playful prints, and light textures are encouraged!
