Please RSVP by September 1st.
It will be quite warm during the day - perfect weather for going to the beach and swimming in the sea. In the evening, it can get very windy and quite chilly, so we recommend bringing sweaters for the trip and a shawl or cover up for the evening of the wedding.
The wedding will be outdoors.
Cairo - If you plan to spend some time in Cairo before or after the wedding, we recommend bringing light fall clothes for the daytime as October is usually sunny but can be chilly during the day and some sweaters/jackets for the evening as it can get quite cold. Cairo is a modest city so we do not recommend tank/crop tops, shorts, or short dresses. No one will say anything, but you will feel more comfortable if adhering to a modest attire. If visiting mosques, you will need to have long sleeves, pants/skirt, and for ladies - a head scarf. We do not recommend visiting the Mosques on a Friday as they are usually not open to tourists during that day. Gouna- Gouna is a laid back beach town - you can wear pretty much anything you would wear in any other beachside town. Evenings can be windy and chilly so we recommend bringing some warmer pieces. Rest of Egypt- If travelling to any other cities in Egypt, we recommend adhering to modest clothing unless you are visiting a beachside town/resort.
Please see the "things to do and important contacts" sheet in the "Travel" section of our website.
Please contact Masha and Waleed for the time being. Two weeks prior to the wedding we will share the contact of our wedding coordinator.
If you plan to travel around Egypt before or after the wedding, we recommend booking everything with a travel or tour agency before your arrival. Your hotel can also make recommendations and reservations but advance bookings will guarantee you a stress free and easy experience. For any questions regarding activities or agencies to book with, tou can reach out to Masha and Waleed.
