Are kids welcome?

Answer

To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children attend the reception.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at St. Therese Church by at least 12:40 pm as mass will start promptly at 1 pm. We recommend allowing extra time as the bridge to Wrightsville Beach is under construction and parking is limited.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be providing guest transportation to and from the wedding ceremony. Parking is available at St. Therese Catholic Church. (Transportation will only be provided for the wedding party)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Ceremony parking is available at St. Therese Catholic Church in the parking lot. The public parking deck (City of Wilmington 2nd Street Parking Deck) is located directly across the street from Ironclad Brewery for reception parking. Please note: If you are staying in one of our recommended hotels downtown you can easily walk to the reception. The downtown area is easily walkable. Uber and Lyft are also available.

Is there a dress code?

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Please RSVP by March 14th 2022.

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes we do! Please see the travel page for more information about our recommended hotels and room blocks. All of our recommended hotels are located within walking distance to each other downtown - and walkable to the reception venue. Keep in mind Wilmington also has plenty of Inns, B&Bs and boutique hotels too if that tickles your fancy. If you are looking to stay on the beach, we recommend Blockade Runner Beach Resort or the Holiday Inn Resort at Wrightsville Beach.
