You will need to call the hotel to reserve a room under our block. You cannot access the block through online booking. Located harbor side, in the heart of downtown, the Bar Harbor Inn’s beautifully landscaped eight acres offer a private retreat with easy walking access to unique shops, art galleries and waterfront activities.

The Bar Harbor Motel is not only easy to find, but it is also a convenient place to stay during your Bar Harbor weekend. It is located just 1 mile from the center of town and a short 1½ miles from the Acadia National Park main entrance. It is a 6 minute drive from the Bar Harbor Inn.

Acadia National Park Campgrounds
There are numerous campgrounds open during the summer months for those who prefer this lodging option! Campgrounds include Blackwoods Campground in Otter Creek, Seawall Campground in Southwest Harbor and HTR Acadia Campground in Mount Desert. These locations are a short drive from the Bar Harbor Inn. You can reserve your campsite online, and reservations are available 60 days in advance. There is no backcountry camping, "out-of-bounds" camping, or overnight parking allowed anywhere in Acadia.
