We met suddenly, unexpectedly, but at the perfect time. We were both fresh in the medical field and just started working in the Emergency Department together--starting our story. Although our dating life started traditionally, 2020 happened and so did COVID, with the lockdown to follow. Normally, this would cause the typical new couple to have conflicts due to "no date nights" and being quarantined in a house all day; but it made us that much closer. We bonded quickly with no other distractions. Two months of dating quickly turned into a one and a half years. After Marissa graduated nursing school, we made the decision to move from Fresno and plant our roots in the amazing city of Pleasanton, CA. We built a new life together and Pleasanton had a lot to do with that, which is where we found our venue. We became members at a local winery and enjoyed each others company there at least twice a month trying out the new wines of the month. Every time we visited, Michael always said "this is the place I'm going to marry you." After four years of dating, Michael finally did it. We took our annual birthday trip in Mexico and he proposed in front of 30 strangers on a catamaran at the famous Arch of Cabo San Lucas. Every day together has been full of adventure, traveling, and making memories. In December, you'll all get to experience our favorite city at the winery we always knew we'd get married at. We're so excited for you all to join us on our wedding day to celebrate our new life together.
