Hiking locations/trails in the area include Buzzard Swamp, Beartown Rocks, Pigeon Falls, Logan Falls, Minister Creek Trail, and Redbank Valley Rail Trail. There are also a number of beautiful trails that start directly from the farm.
Kinzua Bridge State Park is home to the once longest and tallest railroad structure of its time, which was partially destroyed by a tornado during 2003. Reinvented as a pedestrian walkway during 2011, visitors can stroll 600 feet out on the remaining support towers, peer miles out into the Kinzua Gorge, and gaze down through the partial glass platform at the end of the walkway.
Take an easy ride along River Road (you may even catch a glimpse of an otter playing in the river below!), view 27 bridges and 2 former railroad tunnels along Redbank Valley Rail Trail, or mountain bike at nearby Jakes Rocks.
There is a boat launch within 15 minutes of the farm available for those that bring their own canoe or kayak. Kayak, canoe, and tube rentals also available in the area.
River and stream fishing is permitted throughout the Allegheny National Forest.
