We’re getting married!!!

Marissa and Jordan’s journey begins in the early parts of both of their high school careers. Although they never shared any classes together during the day, they both sang in the choir. Becoming closer during occasional rehearsals and performances they grew fond of each other through playful banter and making fun of each other’s sections, Jordan being a bass and Marissa being a soprano. As they slowly grew closer over the next couple of years, Marissa daringly asked Jordan to do a duet at one of the choir performances and Jordan surprisingly said he’d do it. FaceTiming everyday and really getting to know each other, Marissa and Jordan became really good friends, so much so that Jordan asked Marissa to his senior prom. Shortly after his senior prom, Jordan finally asked Marissa out on a date. Jordan decided to take Marissa to an Angels baseball game, even though they both didn’t find any interest in it. At the end of the night, Jordan took a leap of faith and kissed Marissa AT THE END of the Saturday night fireworks show as the stadium was clearing out. The start of the ultimate power couple had begun. Though they both faced their own challenges personally and within the relationship, they knew that they could lean in to one another for support when it was needed. Their relationship had grown from just two random choir kids roaming the halls on their own path through high school to two soulmates who share a deeply rooted connection that will forever be strengthened by the will of God and their ever growing love for one another.
