We have partnered up with Spark by Hilton Sarasota Siesta Key Gateway, which is the closest hotel to the beaches of Siesta Key! We want to stress the importance of booking your hotel room as soon as possible due to this area being a very busy tourist destination and will be booked first come first served. If it notifies you that there are no more rooms available, let us know and we could try to add additional rooms to the block. You do not have to pay anything until you check in the day you arrive, so get that reservation booked! Anyone who wishes to, may stay in any rental/Air BnB on the island or in Sarasota as well, but would be responsible for their own transportation at that point. Prime areas to book stay would be close to Siesta Key Village. For those staying on the key, there is a free shuttle called The Frog Hop that you can wave down or even call that will provide FREE (tips encouraged) rides up and down the key! *Please see the travel tab for more in-depth information about The Frog Hop, hotel blocks, shuttles, etc.
Get married on the beach, party on the farm! Shuttles will depart the hotel at 1:30 PM to transport guests to Siesta Key Beach. Following our ceremony, shuttles will transport guests to The Venue at Fruitville Grove Farm where we will hold our cocktail hour and reception party. Shuttles will depart the farm to bring guests back to the hotel at the conclusion of our reception at 9:00 PM. There will also be a shuttle bus that will leave at 8:00 PM for guests who wish to leave the reception early. For guests who will be transporting themselves to the beach and/or farm, the addresses are: Siesta Key Beach: 948 Beach Road, Siesta Key, FL 34242 The Venue at Fruitville Grove Farm: 7410 Fruitville Rd, Sarasota, FL 34240 It is recommended to plan to arrive at the ceremony early, as Siesta Key parking can be very difficult.
You can call the dress code semi-formal "beach chic." We'll be on the sand during the ceremony (you're going to want your feet in this sand), and then concrete & grass during the reception, so choose your footwear wisely! Ladies, wear your favorite fancy sun dress, linen skirt, or dressy romper. Guys, don't be afraid to skip the tie and break out some dress shorts and fancy loafers! You may wear a suit and tie, just keep in mind that you don't have to.
We would love to host everyone, but we are unfortunately unable to accommodate anyone beyond those specifically named on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding!
Children will not be invited to our wedding. However, there may be some special guest "kids" playing around in a pen at the farm ready for a photo-op!
You can RSVP electronically right on this site by visiting the "Home" or "RSVP" tab! You will also be able to access the designated site by scanning the QR code printed on the invitation you received. Any issues with not being able to populate your name to RSVP, please reach out to Marissa!
Yes, we know everyone thinks Florida is just constantly a rainy 98 degrees with 100% humidity, but the weather in November is actually gorgeous and couldn't be more ideal for an outdoor wedding! We're talking an average of 80-85 degrees complimented by the gulf breeze during the day and will typically drop down to 68-70 degrees at night with very little to no rain in the forecast. Don't be surprised if you find yourself wanting to catch some rays at the beach during the day and needing a light sweater once the sun sets!
