We found one another in Pistachio's at University at Buffalo. A mutual friend happened to recognize Andy who recently transferred to the college, calling him over to say hello. This was the first moment we met. He asked their friend to bring "Melissa" along to lunches so he could spend more time with her. Eventually, they would exchange coffee and donut winnings from the roll up the rim at Tim Hortons as further excuses to meet up.
In March, we took a week trip with the family to Key West. One morning, we woke up at 5:30 a.m. to take the long walk to the sunrise. Andy was adamant that we should wait for Ben to come along. He walked out of the house groggily, insisting that he wanted to see the sunrise as well. We made it to the end of the dock, watching the sun slowly rise. When it settled in the sky, Andy pulled the ring out of his pocket to propose while Ben took pictures. He chose one of my favorites spots on my favorite island. We are excited to be back in the location we treasure most to tie the knot and to celebrate with family and friends. See you in the Keys!
