Start on the Canal Walk and walk to Brown's Island or Belle's Isle. It's an awesome view of the James River and the city.
The Kickstand

Bike rental spot right on the Capital Trail which you can ride 55 miles to the Jamestown Settlement in Williamsburg (as long as you make it back in time for our wedding).
