Rita and I met when we were roughly 5ish years old, crawling under tables as our moms helped with arts and crafts for our older sibs’ classes. We reconnected as friends again senior year of high school and were bonded by our “wannabe rebellious skater girl” days. My fellow Canadian at heart and 1/3rd of my soul sister tribe.

The other 1/3 to my soul sister tribe, Rosie gets the spontaneous side of me and we can often be found making ridiculous plans together and dreaming up new adventures. Rosie and I became friends senior year of high school and I don’t know where I’d be without her friendship. Rosie equal parts makes me feel at home wherever I am and also inspires me to break out of my comfort zone and try new things.

There are few people who have been in my life longer than Auna has. Auna, my sis (in law) has been around since my young teenage stage and has been a constant in my life. Some of my absolute favorite memories have been shared around a fire or making fun of Brian together. We share many similarities and I’m always thankful I have her to laugh at ourselves with.

Brigette and I met when I went to visit Duluth my freshman year of college and we bonded over watching cat videos in a McDonald’s (neither of us like cats). Brigette is always interested in finding something fun to do and I’m so thankful I have her in my life. No matter where life takes us, I know she’ll be there to experience a new and interesting opportunity.

My go to girl for book recs and deep feelings. Sarah is the best person for making me laugh one moment and cry with happiness the next. She gives the best hugs and has such a joyful energy.

Tae and I met junior year of college and has had me laughing ever since. Tae is my girl for a deep talk or a deep belly laugh. Taisha is the woman responsible for introducing me to some of my favorite comedy stand up specials and events as well as some of my favorite podcasts. She’s the ultimate hype woman and very passionate about the people in her life.
