What is the dress code?

Answer

For our welcome party, we request casual chic attire- think sundresses, khaki's, polos, and other comfortable dress-casual styles. For the wedding day festivities, including the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, we kindly request formal attire. We look forward to celebrating with you in style!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we absolutely love your little ones, we are keeping our celebration intimate and will only be inviting children of immediate family members. If children are invited, this will be clearly noted on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To help us keep our celebration intimate, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation. If a plus one is included, it will be noted on your invitation. Thank you so much for understanding- we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Is there parking for the welcome party?

Answer

Yes! For the welcome party, parking is available on site, and complimentary parking vouchers will be provided for guests not staying on property.

Will transportation be provided to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will have a bus departing from the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina hotel that will transport guests to and from the venue. The bus will arrive at 4:15PM and leave from the hotel (32 Patriots Point Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464) at 4:30PM to go to the venue. The bus will pick guests up from the venue to return to the hotel at 9:30PM and 10:30 PM. There is a parking fee at the hotel gate to park there for the duration of the wedding if you are not a guest at the hotel. Uber and Lyft are also great transportation options. While on-site parking is available, we kindly ask all guests to plan responsibly and avoid driving if they plan to drink.

Can dietary restrictions or allergies be accomodated?

Answer

Yes! We are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies. Please be sure to note any restrictions when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Will the wedding festivities be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

A majority of our wedding festivities will be held outdoors, so we kindly ask guests to plan accordingly. We do have a rain plan in place, and there is a house on the property as part of the venue; however, we are planning for the celebration to take place outdoors.

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available at the wedding venue. There is a grass lot along the fence next to the Avenue of Oaks where guests are welcome to park. No cars may be left on site overnight, any cars that are left must be moved to the main parking lot.
