Our Story

We met at just the right time in life, and are so lucky to have found our perfect match. Aaron is fun-loving, silly, loud, and hilarious. Marissa is soft, reserved, nurturing, and mostly serious (though definitely can match Aaron's energy haha). In our younger years, Aaron was a macho goofy football player while Marissa was the quiet nerd in choir. Two opposites attracted (as the saying goes) and now bring out the best in each other & learn from one another, coming together as the perfect balance. We always say that Aaron is a "go with the flow" kind of person, and Marissa is a "...OK but when does the flow start?" kind of person. We couldn't be happier to have found each other in this lifetime and to have formed this incredible bond and partnership. Our little family (Louie, our dog, included of course) is so excited for the next step of joining together as one in marriage. We actually met online - both of our first go's at a dating app - right after COVID times when being introduced to friends' friends wasn't working out. We were both in graduate school when we met in 2022 and only exchanged a few messages before setting a first date because while we met online, we are both "old school" in preferring to get to know and spend time together in person. Aaron claims he knew that this was our forever from that first dinner at Mission Taqueria in Philly :). Everything about our relationship from the start was easy, light, supportive, and loving. Marissa finished graduate school first, moving to Atlanta while Aaron traveled the country for his externship year with his home base still in Philly. Even while living apart, we could only go a few months at a time without seeing each other. After Aaron graduated from Temple, he started residency at Penn right as Marissa finished her internship, so we finally got to move in together just outside of the city we met. By the time the wedding comes, we will have been together for over 4 years; it's funny how time really flies. We can't wait to see where this life takes us, together <3
