The Des Moines Farmer's Market opens the first weekend in May and is a 1-block walk from the Savery Hotel! You can find food, trinkets, and, most importantly, coffee for the morning after the wedding on May 31!
Grays Lake
Grey's Lake is located along Fleur Avenue on the way to and from the wedding venue. It includes a paved walking loop around the lake and a beautiful bridge if you are looking to get outside and in the sunshine during the wedding weekend!
Pappajohn Sculpture Park
The Des Moines Pappajohn Sculpture Park is a downtown staple and a beautiful walk during the day or lit up at night. Located within walking distance of the Savery Hotel, it is surrounded by local businesses, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops.
