We’re getting married!

Lance and Marisela met in June 2019, through Match.com, which considered them 75% compatible (thank God for algorithms). They went axe throwing on their first date. Marisela used a baby axe and hit the metaphorical bulls eye of Lance's heart. Lance's regular-sized axe missed slightly to right or left though, and the two broke-up after about a month. In August 2019, Lance successfully appealed his case, and asked Marisela to start over, suspend her disbelief and faithfully see where their relationship could go. The rest has been a blessing, all of it. Through COVID-lockdowns, the travails of remote-teaching elementary-school kids, travels together, emergencies, laughter and tears, their relationship has steadily grown. In Marisela, Lance has found his ideal soul mate - someone who is kind, optimistic, and faithful. In Lance, Marisela has found hers - someone who is thoughtful, generous, and loving. Each has found a forever home in the eyes and spirit of the other. Come what may, they look forward to continuing their journey together.
