The Wedding Website of Marisa Rose Nixon and Christopher Paul Fanshier
Most out-of-towners will fly into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The Airporter Shuttle can get you to Anacortes near the wedding venue, but public transportation is very limited and a rental car is recommended. It is about a two hour drive north from the airport to the venue. We recommend you take the Deception Pass bridge route -- taking the ferry to the southern part of Whidbey Island and then driving north can be pretty, but can also have very long wait lines in the summer. There is also a smaller airport in Bellingham, north of the venue. Fewer airlines and cities connect here, but it may be an option for you and they do have a rental car center. Wherever you may be driving from, know that this is an incredibly popular part of the state in the summer, and plan accordingly for traffic! *if you plan to join us by sea, talk to us about nearby guest moorage*

House Or Rental

Airbnb or other rental

If you choose to rent a house through Airbnb, VRBO or elsewhere, look for places listed at Deception Pass, Cornet Bay, Oak Harbor, Anacortes, or nearby. There are limited options in the area, so if you are interested in renting a house we recommend you look into it early.

Travel Note

Staying on site: Cabins

The camp can accommodate up to 186 people overnight in shared cabins and bunkhouses, and all guests are welcome to stay at the venue Friday and Saturday night. Accommodations are rustic and include single mattresses and bunk-beds, with either attached or external bath houses that include showers with hot water. Guests will need to bring their own sleeping bags / linens, pillows, toiletries, etc. The image at the top of this page is an exterior photo of a cabin, and an interior photo can be seen on the 'Photos' page. There is also a guest kitchen area with cooking utensils, 2 refrigerators, oven, stove, and microwave. Let us know if you have any questions about this option!

Travel Note

Staying on site: tent camping

There is a limited amount of space available on site for guests to pitch personal tents; these guests can also use the shared external bathhouses. Alternatively, if you'd like to stay farther away from the action, you can rent a tent site (for a fee) in one of the other sections of the park.
