Usually, people say summer in Washington begins after July 4th. Temperatures are commonly in the 70s or 80s and it is pretty dry after that. However, there is always a chance -- we do recommend bringing a raincoat.
This camp doesn't provide any overnight amenities, except for the single mattresses! Anyone staying should bring their own towel and toiletries. If staying in a cabin, you will need sheets and/or a sleeping bag and pillow. We may have some pillows, sleeping bags, etc. available for people to use, so please contact us in advance if you are interested in borrowing and we can make arrangements. There is electricity in the cabins, though you may want to bring a headlamp or flashlight for moving between buildings after dark.
Pets are allowed on site during the day, but cannot spend the night (this will be enforced by the camp host). Let us know if you need a place to board them and we can point you in a good direction. Alternatively, you may reserve a pet-friendly camp site somewhere else in the park through their reservation system. Since some people may have allergies or other aversions to animals, please do be respectful and keep a watchful eye and leash on your pet if they come!
