Can I come to the Sangeet Event?

Unfortunately, this event is RSVP only given space and capacity. If you still have questions please feel free to reach out to us.

What should I wear to the Sangeet Event?

Answer

Any bright, colorful, floor length outfit. We will be in traditional Indian clothing (Saree, Lahenga), but feel free to wear what you are comfortable with.

What is the parking like for the Sangeet?

Answer

Parking location: City of Lakes Waldorf School, 2344 Nicollet Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55404 Parking is free and starts at 4:30. Any arrivals prior to this may use street parking.

Can we bring our children to the wedding event?

Answer

We kindly request this will be an adults-only wedding.

What time should I arrive at the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving by 4:45 PM to take your seats for our 5:00 PM start.

What is the parking situation like?

Answer

The hotel will have parking for guests. There is also plenty of street parking around the hotel.

What is the weather going to be like? Are the events indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Minnesota August can be anywhere from 75-90. We expect a beautiful and comfortable day. To note, both ceremony and reception will be indoors.

Can I bring a date?

All events for our wedding weekend are RSVP only. We are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

What does black-tie optional mean?

Answer

We want our guests to look their best and feel their best for the entire evening. While we expect a lot of black-tie attire, it is not a strict request for those guests that prefer something a bit less formal.
