Our story starts at the University of South Carolina, where we first met in passing at a party. One of us (Marisa) thought the other was so cute, and spent a few months admiring from a far (and talking to all her friends about Matt) until our paths crossed again. We quickly realized that we loved spending time together, and became “official” on September 6th 2012 (Marisa immediately called her mom gushing!) Fast forward several years to September 6th 2021, where Matt popped the question at Grand Teton National Park, overlooking the Snake River, which was followed by a beautiful dinner at the Four Seasons. It was the perfect way to end an amazing vacation! On May 14, 2022, we will tie the knot on Daufuskie Island, which is where we’ve made countless memories as a couple and with friends over the years. We can’t wait to celebrate with each and every one of you, on what just might be our best Daufuskie trip yet!
