Flight
Palermo Airport (pmo)
Sicily has 2 main airports, please only fly into Palermo Airport (PMO) since it is only 14 minutes from where you will stay in Terrasini. Use Google Flights to find a good deal on flights. Click video above to learn how! We suggest flying to Rome or Paris first, or another big city in Europe for a layover, then from there a short flight to Palermo, for the most affordable price.
Rental Car

This is a rental car directly company at the Palermo airport for the easiest pickup. We strongly suggest reserving a automatic vehicle in advance as possible if you need one, since most cars are manual. While taxis and trains are available in many areas, uber or lyft is not available on the island. Having a car or carpooling with others is generally the easiest way to get around the island. We encourage carpooling or 1 car per group if possible to make things simpler and more affordable for everyone! Renting a car is not necessary if you are staying in Terrasini but a car is helpful if you want to travel around the beautiful island! Rent a car only if you are comfortable with driving in a different country.

TAXI & TRAIN • Taxis & trains are both available, but Uber and Lyft are not EXTRA TIPS • August will be hot, so pack light clothes, sunscreen, & comfy shoes- you'll walk a lot! • Many streets are cobblestone , comfy shoes= your best friend • Having some cash (euros) is helpful for small shops and street vendors, but everywhere else will take credit card + tap! • eSIM or international phone plan for cell data and messaging (necessary + cheap) ~Taxis & trains are both available, but Uber and Lyft are not Sicily moves at a relaxed pace, island vibe, so slow down, enjoy, & eat more pasta & drink more vino! 💛
