Things To Do

Kahala Mall

4211 Waialae Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96816
, (808) 732-7736

This is a great mall that's close to the hotel!

Ala Moana Center

1450 Ala Moana Boulevard, Honolulu, HI 96814
, (808) 955-9517

This is a mall in Honolulu that we love to visit - you can easily spend an afternoon here! There are bars and restaurants, 3 food courts and a lot of shopping options.

Diamond Head State Monument

Honolulu, HI 96815
, (808) 587-0300

If you're looking for a great hike, this is it! The website has all of the info you'll need - the hike takes about 2 hours round trip, so bring good shoes and a water bottle. At the end, you get a great view of the ocean and Honolulu.

Pearl Harbor Historic Sites Visitor Center

1 Arizona Memorial Place, Honolulu, HI 96818
, (808) 422-3399

If you haven't been, definitely go and check it out! You can book tickets on their website - we recommend the Passport to Pearl Harbor option to get you into all the sites and tours. There's a lot to do so book early and make a day out of it!

Tantalus Lookout - Puu Ualakaa State Park

Nutridge Street, Honolulu, HI 96822
, (808) 587-0300

This is a great spot to view the sunset from! There are a couple small parking lots at the top of the park and then the lookout is a short walk away, so bring comfortable shoes and enjoy the spectacular views of Honolulu! We'd recommend arriving 30 minutes before sunset.

Dole Plantation

64-1550 Kamehameha Highway, Wahiawa, HI 96786
, (808) 621-8408

We love coming here and checking it out - there's an educational tour of the plantation, a beautiful flower garden, a maze and fresh made Dole-whip! The store/restaurant has pineapple cutting demos and fun souvenirs.

Haleiwa

Haleiwa, HI 96712

It's a bit of a drive, but Haleiwa and the North Shore of Oahu have some great shops, restaurants, and views! If you're worried about the traffic, try to leave early so you can make it back into town before it gets busy.
