Our StoryOur Story
In 2018, Mariolitsa was studying in Sheffield and Thomas was studying in Liverpool. The first time they saw each other was that year, when Thomas visited a mutual friend in Sheffield. That night, they spoke for hours, but as fate had it, they wouldn't cross paths again until April 1st, 2019 (yes, on April Fool's day). That day, they started spending time together, and they have been inseparable since, as
#ThoMario.
In the midst of growing their family (read below), Thomas proposed to Mariolitsa in April of 2024 in Prague, in the presence of their maid of honour and best man.

The kids
Having a place of their own, the first order of business was to adopt a cat. In fact, in September of 2020, Luna, a grey tabby, decided for them, sitting outside their apartment, crying for hours to be adopted. In January of 2022, they saw an adoption post on Facebook, and immediately fell in love with a tiny white/beige Ragdoll. They drove to Pafos that same day and they adopted Ozzy. Fast forward almost 4 years later, in November of 2025 another cat decided that she wanted to become part of their family, and that's when they adopted Salem, a one-eyed, black cat.
