In September of 2022 my brother started bringing Mario over to the house to hangout with him and his friends. I thought he was cute but I knew my brother would not let me date him considering he was one of his friends. On Halloween he came over and that’s when we knew for sure we liked each other. We were playing cup pong and somehow it turned into us having a big water fight. Someone started to cheat and in return I threw a cup of water on him and then it just went crazy from there. We started to text each other more that week and about a month later I worked up the courage to tell my brother I wanted to date him. When I told my brother his immediate answer was no and Mario would not ask me out until Andre said yes. Once Mario talked to Andre and promised to take care of his little sister he eventually told Mario he was ok with it. On December 17th Mario asked me to be his girlfriend and we have been not only dating but been best friends since! Sometime in 2024 we started talking about getting married but I needed to turn 18 first and we wanted to learn the importance of marriage before getting married. We took a class at our church and agreed we were ready and wanted to be with each other until death do us part. So from January of 2025 it was on God’s timing. Once Mario knew for sure it was right he proposed to me at the beach on September 21st, 2025. He took me to the beach and we had a little picnic and then he surprised me with both sides of our family showing up when he proposed. Early October we booked our venue for July 16th and we have been so excited!
