Lisy

Maid of Honor

Lisy is my older sister, best friend, travel partner, secret keeper and all around amazing human. She procreated my favorite human beings and for that I am forever thankful. We have a lifetime of memories made. Too many to narrow down one favorite. From home videos of her whacking me on the head with the whack a mole mallet at Chuck E. Cheese to her being my protector all throughout school to forcing shots on all of our vacations to get the party going. She’s been by my side through all phases of life and will be by my side as my maid of honor as I take the next step into my future, becoming a wife.

Narissa

Bridesmaid

I met Narissa in the girls locker room our 7th grade year. Let’s just say, we were not the best of friends! God knew what he was doing switching me into a new English class, that class is what started this life long friendship. She has been my shoulder to cry on, my words of positivity, my dance partner, my closet sharer, over all the best friend this then 13 year old girl could have asked for. Her home was my second home for many years. Constantly getting dressed up doing our hair and make up just to take new MySpace pictures. Watching chick flicks for days on end. We couldn’t get enough of each other. Although we are grown with our own separate lives, when we get together it’s the same two middle school girls gossiping, laughing and watching chick flicks enjoying 15 years of friendship.

Tiffany

Bridesmaid

Though our families knew each other for years, this friendship didn’t blossom until ninth grade IPC class. Since that class we became inseparable. Day or night we were together. From late night swims, just driving around listening to music, road trips, staying up late binge watching TV shows we were doing it together. We’re two halves of one whole idiot as we say. We always had so much fun because we didn’t care about what anyone thought. We were authentically ourselves having a blast. Through all my teenage-adult adventures Tiffany has been by my side. Her family became mine, birthdays, holidays, I was at every event as was she. No matter what life throws our way she’s always there. I can’t imagine where my life would be with out her. After all she is the reason I met Mario!

Stephanie

Bridesmaid

I met Stephanie my ninth grade year. Even though I did not foresee a friendship, she became one of my best friends. Our friendship developed on a trip to Louisiana with the Estrada family. She blessed us with our Noah Naz my sophomore year. We spent most of our days at the Estrada house making lots of snacks, watching tv and movies, making stupid videos, gossiping about boys amongst many other things. She always has an open door and a listening ear ready to give advice. Now a days she’s a mommy to 5 beautiful children and she’s killing it! We don’t get out much but we still love making snacks and enjoying a good movie and reminiscing on the good old days when we were young and wild.

Katy

Bridesmaid

I met Katy when I was just three years old, in our childhood apartments. Our friendship grew over playing dress up in my mom‘s closet, dancing to Spice Girls in front of the TV. My family loves to tell the stories. Family vacations, experimenting with make up and crazy colored hair to learning the importance of pacing your alcohol! We made it through elementary, middle, and high school. The two years of college I didn’t take seriously I spent most nights at her apartments. We’ve been through it all. Katy is honest, loving, and just a genuine kind hearted human. We have 24 years of amazing memories. From being little girls to now grown women. I am so very grateful for the friendship we’ve built. It doesn’t matter how much time has passed it is always the same when we get together.

Gabby

Bridesmaid

I officially met Gabby through her sister Tiffany. I spent numerous days and nights at the Estrada house. Our friendship really grew when she got pregnant with her first girl, Mya. I remember sitting on her bed and waiting for the test results. Little did we know how drastically this little girl would change our lives. I’ve had the honor to watch Gabby grow into motherhood. And she does a damn good job. From cheer, PTA, sports she does it all. She has a busy schedule. Even with a plateful she always makes time for her friends and family. She never misses an event. Birthdays, holidays, special occasions she’s always there. We love going out to eat, taking the kids anywhere and everywhere, and mini road trips. I am grateful to have a friend like her to stand by my side on the big day!

Jasmine

Bridesmaid

I met Jasmine in high school. But we really didn't become good friends until after high school. Jasmines and my relationship grew naturally. Through nights going out to nights staying in doing nothing at all. She's the artsy one of the group. While I like to be creative, she has all the talent. One of my favorite memories with Jasmine is one day while we were bored at Tiffany's house we had Jasmine draw Stephanie like the scene from titanic. It was the funniest thing. That drawing still hangs on Tiffany's wall. While we have many memories, it's the memories that I can't remember the night that sticks out the most. She always gets the best pictures. Like of me passed out next to my quesadilla on my twenty-first birthday. She doesn't get many of those anymore but there are plenty to come!

Efrain

Best Man

When you look up the best man in the dictionary it states a close male friend. Efrain is not that, Efrain is a brother to me. Efrain and I met in high school. I met Efrain through his brother Benito. We use to hang out on Pat's porch together. I came to realize we had lots in common. He had two brothers and parents similar to mine. Trough the year we've had our share of problems but we never stopped being there for one another. In my darkest times, he was always there. No matter how many times my mom kicked him out. He always came back, for that I'm grateful. As adults, we've worked many jobs together. Now he's a father. He does all he can for his son. That something I admire. I hope to do the same one day. I know when that day comes he will be there by my side with all the advice.

John

Groomsman

John is my older brother, he is the middle child of us three brothers. We all share likenesses, but still very different. While Ruben showed me the world of EDM. John schooled me on east coast hip hop. Mainly the Wu Tang Clan. John was the brother I always tagged along with. Whether it was to the park to play basketball or to warehouse music to buy new music. He taught me how to drive a standard. We got along like peas and carrots. To this day we are still close. We live together in our childhood home. As adults, it is the same old stuff. We still like good music but now enjoy it with with beer and a good meal.

Ruben

Groomsman

Ruben is my oldest brother. He is the oldest of us three. He and I bond over our love for music. If it weren’t for Ruben I wouldn’t know how awesome EDM is. One of my favorite memories with Ruben was when I was in middle school we went to Kmart and he bought his first CD player and the Primus CD. We jammed to that CD until it broke. Growing up there was a huge age gap between us. While he was working or hanging out with friends I was home playing with my ninja turtles. As we grow we find to have more and more in common. Good food, art, music and a good beer to name a few. It’s an honor to have my big brother standing beside me on this day.

Pat

Groomsman

I met Pat through a Efrain. We used to hang out on Pat‘s porch. I didn’t even know who he was. I didn’t know who’s porch I have been hanging out on for a few weeks. I was just there. I can’t recall how or when I realize who’s house I was at. But within the last few weeks I had already started a friendship. Who would’ve thought after all these years will still be here. When we get a free weekend we like to go disk golfing. We share a love for cars, movies and music. My fondest memory is a recent one. Our trip to Vegas for my bachelor party. I got to see your new side of him. I saw a brother in him. He helped keep the peace. He offered me advice. We saw some crazy stuff. As we get older our friendship continues to grow and for that I’m thankful.

Eric

Groomsman

Eric has been a close friend since our high school days. I met him hanging out on Pat‘s porch. He was a spiked hair kid, easily convinced to do crazy things. Though he was the funny one, he has always been there though the more serious moments. He’s a friend you can count on. One memory that sticks out to me is when we try to make her own landscaping business. We took a bid on a tree removal. We are in way over our heads. We couldn’t get the job done with the owner sent us on another mission so he wouldn’t leave broke. Nowadays we bond over our love for guns. We love to go to the gun range and let off a few rounds. The physical and mental growth this man is made in the last year as an inspiration. I am grateful to have him by my side as I enter this new chapter of my life.

Joe

Groomsman

Joe is my soon to be brother in law. Throughout all Jackie's family, he is the one I fit in the most with. If he's not at the event I'm probably not going, at least not all night. Im usually the only guy if he’s not there. He has become my travel partner on all these vacations our fiances love to plan. The first time I really got to know Joe was when the family took a Royal Caribbean Cruise to Honduras, Belize, and Cozumel. Jackie and I had only been together for six months at that time. Going into that trip was a whole new experience. From being with the whole family for a week, to my first real vacation, to my first time being on a huge cruise ship. I created a friend that is soon to be a brother.

Matthew

Groomsman

Matthew is Jackie's little brother. I can't recall the first time we met. There is a fifteen-year age difference between the two of us. He was a teenager when Jackie and I started dating. Always off with his friends, doing high school things. Now he's twenty and slowly but surely becoming a man. He is the goofy little brother. He will newly be twenty-one at the wedding, so buy him a shot! Wait they're free.. Anyways as my soon to be brother in law, there is no place I would rather him be standing while his sister and I make this commitment to dedicating the rest of our life to one another.
