Tickets are R$93.50 (about $18) for adults and R$64 (about $12) for children 5 to 11 years of age. Senior tickets (60+) are R$32 (about $6).
At approximately 1300ft (396 meters) high, the Sugarloaf Mountain presents another breathtaking view of Rio de Janeiro. "Lagoa" is a natural lake renowned for its tranquility and beauty. There is a bike path all around the lake as well as trees and other vegetation. Framed by the mountain skyline, it provides the perfect landscape for amazing sunsets. You can find bikes for rent and refreshing coconut water as well as eateries around the path. One option for bike rental is "Bike Itaú". You can download the app on your phone and it works similar to most ridesharing apps, like Lime and Lyft.
