Christ the Redeemer is the most iconic landmark of Rio de Janeiro. The statue is 30 meters (98 feet) high and located at the peak of the 700-meter-tall Corcovado mountain (2,300 ft), overlooking the city. This is a must see and the view from the top is like no other. Try to avoid cloudy days and go early in the morning to avoid crowds. Tickets are R$93.50 (about $18) for adults and R$64 (about $12) for children 5 to 11 years of age. Senior tickets (60+) are R$32 (about $6).

One option for bike rental is "Bike Itaú". You can download the app on your phone and it works similar to most ridesharing apps, like Lime and Lyft.
