Our ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church, located right in town. Our reception will follow shortly after at The Farm at Old Edwards Inn, just a 5-minute drive from the church. If you are staying at an Old Edwards Inn property (200 Main or The Main Inn), you are welcome to meet us directly at the church or take one of the shuttles that will pick up guests from the designated meeting points and bring you to the ceremony. Pickup and drop-off locations will be shared as we get closer to the date. After the church ceremony, shuttles will be waiting outside to take you to the reception at The Farm at Old Edwards. At the end of the night, shuttles will again be available to take you back to the pickup/drop-off locations. You are more than welcome to drive yourself to any of the locations; however, please note that parking is limited at both the church and the reception venue. Even if you are not staying at an Old Edwards Inn property, you are still welcome to use the shuttles—you may simply park your vehicle at one of the pickup/drop-off spots for the evening.
We love your kids and they are welcome to join us at the ceremony. For the reception, however, we ask that you please refer to your invitation — unless your children are specifically listed, the reception will be adults-only. We have a reserved spot for every guest, so we kindly ask for your understanding. A babysitter will be available on property during the reception with dinner, snacks, and games provided for children. We have room blocks at both Old Edwards Inn and 200 Main, making your stay in Highlands as easy and beautiful as possible. Both properties are right on Main Street and will have convenient transportation to and from our wedding events. For those who prefer a more homey feel, there are also plenty of gorgeous Airbnbs in the Highlands area. Highlands is part of a temperate rainforest, so rain is pretty common in the spring. April usually brings mild mountain weather with cool mornings, comfortable afternoons, and the chance of a shower or two. We recommend bringing a light jacket just in case. Our ceremony and reception will both be indoors, so you’ll be comfortable no matter the forecast.
