Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes. All hotel recommendations are located under the "Travel" section of this website. Please not that there aren't any special room block rates available at any of the recommended hotels. Book the hotel that best suits you. Bride & Groom will be staying at La Concha Resort.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony and reception will both be held on the 12th floor rooftop & terrace and Mirador salon at La Concha Resort. There will be no need for transportation aside from your hotel, if you choose one that isn't within walking distance. In that event, you can schedule an uber.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. Destination wedding does not equal beach wedding so dress to impress! Dress code is formal attire. Ladies - elegant, long dresses. No white! Gentlemen - dark suit or sport jacket/tie

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive on time!! Ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm.

Question

Answer

Unless already stated on your invitation, you are not allowed to bring a date. We are still in times of covid and have to adhere to guidelines. Guest list is very strict and limited to immediate family and closest friends of bride & groom only.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No. This will be an adults only wedding with the exception of three children who are part of the wedding party and related to the bride.

Question

Do you need a passport to fly into Puerto Rico?

Answer

No. Puerto Rico is US territory, you can travel using a government issued photo ID such as a driver license.

Question

Are there covid restrictions in place when traveling to Puerto Rico?

Answer

Yes. Mask wearing on flights is still mandatory and all passengers traveling into Puerto Rico MUST fill out a travel declaration form. Said form will be required to be presented (along with photo ID) before exiting baggage claim at airport! Link for travel declaration form below: https://1link.travelsafe.pr.gov/register

Question

Do you have to have the covid-19 vaccine to enter Puerto Rico?

Answer

Yes. If you have had both doses of the covid-19 vaccine, you will be required to enter that information when filling out your travel declaration form along with a photo of your vaccination card (mobile upload). If you are by some chance you are not vaccinated, you will need to show proof of a negative molecular PCR-RT test taken within 72 hours prior to your arrival to the island. Please note that this is a mandatory measure and if you do not provide this information you will not be allowed in. As an alternative, travelers can have the test done on-site at the airport and have the results in 24-48 hours at a cost ranging between $75-$95/per test.

Question

If my trip is booked for the coming weeks, will I be able to enter Puerto Rico?

Answer

Yes, given the Island is a U.S. territory, our borders aren’t closed. However, travelers must comply with all necessary requirements, outlined in PR's travel advisory. Those visiting Puerto Rico should review the local measures in place, developed by the Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC), such as social distancing, and high standards of cleanliness in accordance with CDC and EPA guidelines. Masks are required in all indoor spaces, regardless of vaccination status. Vaccinations are required for both employees and guests of all hotels, paradores, guesthouses, and short-term rentals across the Island. Those not vaccinated must present a negative PCR or antigen test taken within 72 hours of the beginning of their visit. If staying longer than one week, they must continue to present negative tests on a weekly basis. Given current restrictions, visitors should connect with their hotels directly for additional information about operation status and specific protocols. (See "Travel" page)
